Dan Vasser, a San Francisco reporter and family man, travels back in time, being gone from the present for long period of time, while seeming to him to be just moments. His long absences and kooky stories of time travel exasperate his wife, who turns to his own brother for support. Meanwhile, Dan keeps running into his ex fiancee in the past.
