The universe of Joss Whedon’s short-lived television series Firefly and movie Serenity contains 215 terraformed planets and moons. Although only a handful of locales could be explored in 14 episodes and one feature film, a new map plots out the entire Serenity Verse.

A Serenity fan on LiveJournal went to the Hub Conventions Serenity event this past weekend and reported some interesting news from guest Ron Glass (Shepherd Book from Firefly and Serenity). Dark Horse Comics will be publishing a new comic about the character of Book, set prior to the events we’ve already seen on the screen.
