Rosie O'Donnell writes on her blog that her NBC variety show -- her first TV gig since leaving The View -- won't being continuing. The Wednesday night show attracted just 5 million viewers, down even from the previous week's low-rated Knight Rider. The night was dominated by Barbara Walters' interview of Barack and Michelle Obama.

Comedian Ricky Gervais has been asked to appear on Sesame Street, Gervais has revealed. Writing on his blog, the 47-year-old said: "I've been asked to do Sesame Street - there are some things you don't turn down." The star also revealed on his website that he has asked actors Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas and Al Pacino to appear in his show Extras.
